Jag säger bara: Go Green!
English Version
Now it has been raining and fairly warm weather for a while. All has become lush and green. You can hardly make out our exercise path in all the greenery.
Green is a color I like. It is a positive color. It means go in the traffic lights. You say: "It is green", when something is good, or a project has been approved.
Green is also the color of health. The color for organic vegetables. The color for the gardener, you have a "green thumb". Green is the color of Spring, of the budding life. Green is the color of hope. Not white and dead, as the Winter.
I can only say: Go Green!

Hej Sven,
I must object. You say that 'Grönt är också hälsans färg'. A couple of weeks ago a had some food that did not agree with me and I got very sick. In between frequent visual inspections of the inside of my toilet I rested on my bed. My wife told em that my face was green. Believe me, Sven, I was not in the best of health.
Says Erik who has now recovered and doesn't want to go green again.

Erik,
I am glad you have recovered. Yes, it can be a "two edged sord". Also red can be "hälsans färg" in the shape of "en rött äppelkindad unge".
However, I personally prefer green before red. When the cockpit lights up by red lamps, it's not good.
Efter att ha jobbat ute i trädgården lite just nu är mina gröna tummar helt bruna av jord och lera.

Hej igen Sven,
Talking about that unhealthy green colour you have sometimes in your face when you do not feel well it reminds me of a visit I made to The Queen Mary during one of my visits to the USA. I observed that the mirrors in the first class cabins were all tinted in a rosy colour. The trick was, of course, that passengers who suffered from sea sickness would look healthy and well when they looked at themselves in the mirror.
Erik, who doesn't like travelling by sea.

Erik,
When we lived in Sweden and travelled as tourists to the US, twice we took Qeen Elizabeth II back from New York to Cherbourgh, France. On one occasion it was in the Fall with rough sea. I do not know what color we had in our faces, as we never could stand up and look in the mirror. However we were taken to the hospital in the ship, given some shots in our rear ends, and after that we have never felt so perky. We did not ask what we were given. Morphine?
